Powers Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
With layers of currant, Bing cherry, fennel, cedar, tobacco leaf, hints of eucalyptus and caramel on the nose, this wine boasts great aromatics that intertwine into great flavors on the palate. Black currant, crème brulee, wild mountain blackberry, huckleberry, mint, and a touch of sweet oregano all mingle on the palate. This wine has all the hallmarks of classic Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon. Great mouth-feel with decadent textures, these flavors lead into a complex but elegant finish, with fine structured tannins.
