Clayhouse Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Clayhouse Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

The Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of Bing cherry, with dark spice notes of cinnamon, allspice, and fresh, sweet fennel. The soft dried cherry fruit on the palate has hints of vanilla and licorice on the finish, followed by a touch of black pepper. The wine is ready to drink, with smooth tannins, and chalky cherry and earthy complexities behind the soft oak. It’s an excellent companion to ribs, grilled meats and pasta.

Wine EnthusiastAn extremely good deal, this wine will keep both neophytes and experts entertained, with aromas of black-plum jam, dark strawberries and graphite on the lively nose. The palate brings pungent blueberry and black cherry, along with crushed black-lava rocks and pencil shavings right down the middle.

Wine AdvocateThe 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. Silky tannins, lush blackcurrant fruit, not a lot of complexity, but a good savory, fleshy mouthfeel make for quite a tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from the Paso Robles AVA that can be drunk over the next 3-4 years.
